About Dr. Emily Weathered – Veterinarian with Peaceful Endings for Pets

Dr. Emily Weathered grew up just outside of Madison, Wisconsin, and obtained a bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Wisconsin Madison. She spent time working at a local small animal veterinary clinic before enrolling in the University of Wisconsin Madison School of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated with her veterinary degree in 2020. After graduating, she completed a one-year internship at Fox Valley Equine Practice in La Fox, IL. Upon completion of the internship, she transitioned to working as an associate at that practice and also joined the Peaceful Endings team. Dr. Emily enjoys the variety that both large and small animal medicine brings.

Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, Matt, mini Aussie, Lola, and Quarter Horse, Luna. In her free time she enjoys trail riding her horse, skiing, and traveling with her family on camping and hiking trips.
