Chicagoland Pet Cremation
(also known as Halo4Paws
Located in Roselle, IL, they serve all of Chicago and surrounding suburbs including NW Indiana. They use the traditional flame cremation method, offering private creation (your pet’s ashes will be returned to you) and communal cremation (no ashes are returned).
What is considered a traditional cremation?
Pet cremation is a common aftercare option for beloved animals. The process typically takes 1-2 weeks from the time the pet is taken to the crematory until the ashes are ready for pickup. Owners can choose between private cremation, where they receive their pet’s individual ashes, or communal cremation, where multiple pets are cremated together. The crematory will contact the owner when the ashes are ready, and they can usually be picked up at the facility. For an additional fee, delivery options are often available. Traditional flame cremation is the most common method used.
What are some of the memorial options?
You also have the option to select special urns, keepsakes like jewelry, or other memorial items to hold their pet’s ashes, allowing you to keep a lasting memento of their companion. We will provide you with contact information for the crematorium to discuss current options and pricing.
Do we have to use your crematorium?
The short answer is no. You have the option to use our preferred provider. In that case, we will take your pet and deliver it to the crematorium and facilitate the process for you. If you wish, we can leave the pet with you, where you make the arrangements to use any business of your choosing.
