“Kari… I don’t know how you do this with such patience, professionalism, and compassion. You were so great during his hospice care that we provided him over the last few months, but when his tail stopped wagging we knew it was time. He was comfortable, and it was so painless and peaceful. He came to this forever home and went to his final forever home in the best way possible. We did not have to do that stressful final trip to the vet. Having done that multiple times in the past, I know it was a better experience for him and us. "Roxanne was so compassionate and empathetic while helping me decide the details. Dr. Emily came out the same day, and she was absolutely amazing. She was very calm and soft spoken, helping Riley feel comfortable. This was by far the hardest decision I have ever had to make, but I knew it was my baby girl’s time. I can’t express how much easier it was to let Riley go having Peaceful Endings help us. My girl hated the vet and would shake profusely the minute we pulled up to the building. With Dr. Emily, she was so calm and comfortable, that I couldn’t even tell the minute that she passed. There was no rushing us, and she let us begin our grieving process until we were ready to say good-bye. She went so peacefully with her loved ones by her, and on her ottoman, where she was the queen of the house. Rest in peace my Riley girl, and a big thank you to Peaceful Endings for making this very tough day easier on both Riley and her parents. "

“When Dr. Jen walked into our home, Wrigley greeted her with such excitement and happiness. It surprised me, as he was quite lethargic all morning. I said to Dr. Jen, “he looks so happy and healthy that you’re probably wondering why you’re here.” Dr. Jen assured me that she sees this all the time and it’s just the adrenaline that is letting him forget the pain. With that said Dr. Jen bent down and petted Wrigley and told him what a “perfect boy” he was. Those words still choke me up every time I recall them. She described him perfectly! Wrigley was sniffing Dr. Jen’s bag and kept going to her for some lovin’. Then Dr. Jen began to explain the process to my husband and me. As she did that, Wrigley came to me and sat very close to me (kind of to tell me it will be ok)…. Dr. Jen assured my husband and I that she was in no rush and we would leave it up to Wrigley to decide when he’s ready to start the process. My husband and I laid plastic in his dog bed, then the blue blanket that he loves on top of the plastic. As soon as we did that, Wrigley crawled into his bed and laid down. He laid there with such readiness…. As we fed Wrigley the plate of pizza, hot dogs, string cheese and laughing cow cheese, Dr. Jen walked us through the process of the injections. She was so soft spoken and comforting through the entire process. Our baby passed peacefully and pain-free. After he passed, Dr. Jen said she would wait outside and for us to take as long as we needed to say our goodbyes. We didn’t feel rushed at all. Thank you Dr. Jen for being instrumental in Wrigley’s passing. You’re a beautiful person and Wrigley knew that as soon as you walked into our home."

“We are eternally grateful to Dr Trotsky. Letting our Lola girl go after a year long cancer battle was awful, and having the ability to send her off here at home surrounded by her family was worth every penny - and then some. Instead of the vet's office, which she associated with surgeries and exams, she was in her own bed, and fell asleep after eating a few bacon cheeseburgers, literally giving kisses. Yes, it was hard to make the decision to let her go, but if we'd waited longer it would have resulted in a traumatizing "emergency" situation. Dr. Trotsky was kind and gentle and gave us all the time we needed, walked us through the process and answered all our questions. Lola was respected and treated with dignity. We are so grateful, especially this morning with an obvious missing presence in the house, that Lola's "last look" here on earth was here in her own home with her favorite people.
