What are signs of cancer in dogs?

Cancer can cause multiple systems to be affected, depending on where the cancer is located. Symptoms can include:

• Brain: head tilt, circling, pacing, behavioral changes

• Lungs/Heart: increased respiratory rate at rest, coughing, not able to tolerate exercise

• Abdominal Cancer: vomiting, diarrhea, lack of appetite, internal bleeding, enlarged abdomen

• Bone: limping, pain, bony protrusions

• Skin: visible masses, ulcerated, excess licking
